 Why do we study literature?



It is a rapidly emerging question that everyone asks that why we should study literature or what is the benefit of studying literature why  English literature is important for students.

Well, there are several reasons to accumulate the deserving answers.

1. Literature works as a bridge between decades

Its reading takes us beyond the world around its timeline where the whole work was done. it is a kind of voyage without physical fatigue but of a sense that develops the whole eye read storey into an imaginative film.

It is an overwhelming communication between the reader and the writer through its story lineup.

While reading most of us are lingual, bilingual or can be multilingual .so it can be precisely a language understanding tool.

Multiple writings are in form of humour jokes and entertaining like Shakespeare's works .which fascinates readers to enjoy and recall the time of being the character performing that particular work.

9. Recognition of worldly  affairs

While its reading uncovers the whole mystery of the social livings, their upbringing and also their survival techniques.

              Literature is a world for scholars to pen up their writing careers.

1    Literature is important for the English literature students as a course to form their notions clear and up to date with their likey subject.it gives them a detailed look at their historic eventful subject.

To conclude this discussion it can be viewed that literature is the mirror of life.it stimulates the curiosity of the reader to know its worth and the hidden questioned things to generate a specific idea. It broadens your sense to know the literary types, genres, and the kinds in which its spells the reader. It also sharpens your skills of analysis to understand things from others points of view and to acknowledge the artisans of that particular age.

It dignifies the moral of not only the writer but also of the reader. literature is undoubtedly a source of expressions, emotions feelings, written embedded material and the representative of age, its people, culture and the events gathered in tranquillity or in a hard time.
